I've been painting like a madman. Many, many little quickie paintings to sell at the con. Here are some of the ones I did over the last month.
The last two are "Styracotriceratops" ('cos it has all the horns of a Triceratops PLUS all the horns of a Styracosaurus) and a vision of a ginormous Vampire Squid. Some of these have been submitted to fanzines, like The Drink Tank, Feline Mewsings and Askance.
The cathulhu is cute (if one were into cthulhu), but I want the kid and dragon checking each other out - that's way cool. How come you never send anything to Windy any more?
Aw, man, Windycon is is like a week and a half away. Dang. How about I send some art prints to Windycon next year - and you can personally hold me to it. And remind me to send a print of the kid and the dragon.
WindyCon is 2-1/2 weeks out, yet - Nov 9th-11th. OK - I'll hold you to that - do I have your snail-mail address in my database? In other words, did you get the mailing I sent out just before Labor Day? If not, email it to me (kerrylkuhn [at] comcast [dot] net) and that will make sure you are on next year's mailing list.
Yep. His upcoming Global Warming Aftermath antho and your illustration jumped right out at me. I can so picture deliberate genetic altering to survive excessive heat or water.
Too bad it isnt's another Illustrated edition. I think I'd give it a shot writing to that painting of yours.
Ah, yeah, everybody likes the dragons. OK, I'll paint more dragons. I figured you'd like the rocking dinosaurs - though perhaps I should do one with a bass, too.
I like the softness of the dinosaurs playing guitar. And that Cathulhu is sure to be a favorite. The only thing that could make it more so is WINGS! Oh, won't someone think of the WINGS!
Hi darlin! I insanely love all these new paintings so much my head falls off. Don't suppose you have any Guidolon work you need done for trade? And thanks so much for callin the other day-did you get mah mesag?
